At the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

· Locate information from all sections of the Dangerous Goods Regulations
· Locate State and Operator Variations
· Select the Proper Shipping Name from the List of Dangerous Goods
· Locate and identify information shown on the Shipper's Declaration and the Air Waybill
· Select the correct packing using the Packing Instructions and the General Packing Requirements
· Correctly mark and label a package in compliance with Dangerous Goods Regulations
· Check a Dangerous Goods Acceptance Check List
·
Have a basic understanding of the Regulations
·
Be able to locate information within 49 CFR and be aware of sources of additional assistance for interpreting the information
·
Be able to produce or market dangerous goods to the United States with an understanding of other workplace safety regulations which may have an impact on their operations.
Course Objective
The Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air training course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely ship, receive and prepare shipments of Dangerous Goods for Transport by Air. This training course will ensure participants deal with Dangerous Goods shipments, according to the current International Air Transport Association. Dangerous Goods Regulations and the applicable parts of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Clear Language Regulations.
